I think I'm coming strongly down on the side that Joe Rogan is, despite his repeated claims to be an idiot who knows nothing, a fucking idiot who knows nothing. He's on a path of least resistance, speaking to and for other idiots because it's just easier to ignore smart people than babbling lunatics. I don't think there's anything more coherent in his worldview than "if I press this button money comes out".

Given how much podcasting is pushed as a medium for niche interest and deeper takes on things, and it certainly can be, it does prove that the lowest common denominator is still where the money is

There seems to be a bit of a paradox at the heart of the Reform Party because on one hand they seem to be opposed to listen to experts and following the science and on the other hand Richard Tice gave a speech yesterday in which he argued that we need better leaders.
