Herewith, a (by no means exhaustive) list of Tory MPs the electoral demise of whom on election night 2024 I am anticipating deriving intense pleasure from. Because. . . well, because they’re cunts.

Feel free to add such names to the list as inspire you.

Rachel MacClean.
Jonathan Gullis.
Nia Lici.
Lee Anderson
Shaun Bailey
Andrew Bowie.
Jack Brereton.
Miriam Cates.
Brendan Clarke-Smith.
Andrea Jenkyns.
Robert Jenrick.
Daniel Kawcynzski.
Esther McVey.
Joy Morrissey.
Chris Philp.
Gary Sambrook.
Desmond Swayne.
Kelly Tolhurst.
Helen Whateley.
Gavin Williamson.
Nadhim Zahawi.

Out of that lot Anderson will get the biggest cheers because he's made himself the poster boy for the 2019 intake, and a loathsome cunt to boot (yes, I know the two are much the same thing).

Sir Jake "get that new job" Berry.

But I'm biased.

If we are going to have a thread with such lofty targets, Rees Mogg has to be the ultimate prize.

My dear, dear uncle, who was bobbing up and down on the telly when Chris Patten took the bath (sic), has invited me over for the evening.

As soon as the GE is called, I will consider booking myself a Eurostar berth for the fun and games.

Liz Truss, not the wild card you may think if the LDs fall back. Labour may wish to reciprocate in Surrey Heath, a much taller order to oust Gove but we can dream.

Not wanting to be a pedant or anything, but Shaun Bailey the erstwhile London Mayor candidate is now in the House of Lords, so wont be standing in the next General Election.

There are some sound pragmatic arguments for keeping the Lords or not worth bothering about but Johnson and Truss’s life peer appointments have made its existence untenable.

Can't believe we've not had Michael Fabricunt or Kimmy Bad Enoch nominated yet.

Badenoch is safe in Saffron Walden but not sure why as most towns in that commuter corridor are ripe Lib Dem target seats. The area does have a bit of reputation for those who are even too rich for well heeled Cambridge which is also full of lefties.

Different Shaun Bailey. This one is an MP in West Bromwich.

Can't see Bone or Hollobone going. Wellingborough and Kettering are proper Tory towns.

There's a chance that Pursglove might get dislodged, it depends on voter apathy in Corby. The town people are primarily Labour but they may get outnumbered by the Tories in the surrounding villages.

Think Purslove is likely in a lot of trouble. Lots of the swing to Tory in places like Corby has been over Brexit, where Labour voters have seen it as a route to protectionism. Even if Brexit hadn't made them poorer, they might not be particularly impressed by Badenoch and co telling them "Here's more great free trade for you!"

Christ, from Gillian Shepherd (a competent Education Secretary with prior professional experience who was brought in to clear up John Patten's mess) to Liz Truss.
