I don't think any of us here are that naïve.

That would be nice but I think that's just a prediction, no polling. Having said that, I reckon ULEZ won't bark this time, espsecially if the mayoral election is already done,

Rosie Holt and Sir Michael Take are two examples who blur the lines a fair bit and frankly seem more sane at times.

After those by-elections that Labour really lost, a no doubt fake poll lead of 21 points. Jez fan below the line shows all the razor sharp understanding we expect from his lot.

If someone comes over to Labour from the right, it doesn't mean they're given a seat on the NEC and invited in for policy discussions.

Mr. Moorhouse has some interesting things to say today. An election in May is looking ever liklier.

Sunak says he is ruling out calling the election for 2 May.

Of course, I don’t necessarily believe him. If he is going to call it, it ‘ll need to be by 20 March.

He still has six days to change his mind, and remember what Wilson said about a week in politics.

Nah, he won't change his mind. He needs the recession to be over/revised away so he can run on the "plan" and "green shoots". He's not really got anything else.

Surely they couldn't? Then again, those local elections aren't going to be good. Most of them were fought in 2021 when Bozo was basking in getting Brexit and the vaccine done.

I know we shouldn't read too much into local elections, but...

This is in the new South Cotswolds seat. The Tories are running the serving Wiltshire North MP, the Lib Dems are running an (female) ocean rower. I assume she's energetically putting her face about.
