Yep, I've yet to hear of any well regulated Militias being formed to ensure the security of the free State,

Is there a obvious loophole like the two-term rule only applies to consecutive terms? I think King Donald will certainly try, assuming Mother Nature doesn't intervene in the meantime.

On a different matter, my sister and her husband are on a month-long holiday in the US. They have rented a car, a Nissan Rogue. Now, not having heard of one before, I went to Nissan America's website.

You're assuming that there's going to be another election.

If he suspended the process for some spurious reason, nothing would happen on a legislative level other than a lot of "Yes, Your Majesty".

Alternatively, he has taken to threatening to jail his political opponents - which works very well for Vlad - unopposed elections aren't a problem.

Speaking of Putin, I saw somewhere that he's quietly dropped the US sanctions on Russia this weekend.

"It'll be fixed, it'll be fine, you won't have to vote anymore."

Donald Trump, July 2024.

So much for the fucking Holy 2nd Amendment, which seems to be enabling this shit.

Let it fucking burn.

I genuinely think if the US is saved, it will be because Vance’s lot expected him to be in the White House already (either because Trump dies/has a massive stroke, or because he did something so deranged they had to stand him down - and by deranged I mean like dropping his trousers at a speech) and as such they haven’t prepped enough to prevent the midterms being (mostly) legit because they’re lazy/not half as clever as they think they are, and their “plan” doesn’t extend much more than declare martial law. But with Trump still staggering on and his sycophants still everywhere, they can’t make their move.

If the republicans lose the house and the senate the democrats - assuming they can agree for 5 minutes - can stop a significant amount of his nonsense.
