Her voting record suggests she's a bit of a cunt. Since her booting, she has a new role:

Atherton was appointed as a Defence Adviser on the Board of Advisors for the Centre for Military Women’s Research at Anglia Ruskin University.

I think this means she stacks up the chairs and locks the hall after the CCF meetings.

Hard right populist parties have been invited into national coalitions (NZ, Switzerland, Sweden for eg). They didn't cause too much damage once they were in the big chair having to do grown up stuff.
It is a poison chalice but running away when a PM has asked you step up to the plate is an even worse look.
I'd offer Farage a science and technology portfolio. With a brief to produce a plan to employ labour saving devices to plug vacancies instead of immigrants. Perfect opportunity for Nigel to put his money where his big mouth is.

The news from Durham sounds remarkably similar to the news from Kent. You know how we told you that we'd find a load of waste and sort it all out? Um, we haven't. The bait and switch will now move to central government, and Labour will get the blame for handing out enough money Durham when Reform would have said this was "Labour buying votes" if they ran the council. Will anybody join the dots between Farage's support of big tax cuts in central government and Durham needing more money from central government? Who knows?

This also shows the bind the government are in. The extra money barely touches the sides. Not only have you got Farage, you've got Corbyn and co too saying "we were promised an end to austerity blah blah".

I can recall BNP members after their 2005 'breakthrough' resigning because they hadn't realised the party was racist. Oddly enough, this tended to come after they'd been publicly outed.
