As far as I'm aware, only Corbyn described Hamas as friends and he is no longer a Labour MP.

PMQs and they're discussing the Supreme Court decision on sending immigrants to Rwanda. 30p has waded in:

from Sky News

Lee Anderson, who is the Conservative Party's deputy chair, has called for his own party and government to ignore today's ruling from the Supreme Court and also the UK laws which the judges ruled made the Rwanda scheme moot.

He said ministers should "just put the planes in the air now and send them to Rwanda".

"I think the British people have been very patient, I've been very patient, and now they're demanding action. And this has sort of forced our hand a little bit now," he said.

"My take is we should just put the planes in the air now and send them to Rwanda and show strength.

"It's time for the government to show real leadership and send them back, same day."

He added: "I think we should ignore the laws and send them straight back the same day."

What we do know is the massive asylum claims backlog is the result of a very cynical political choice to whip up hysteria that the Tories intended to solve. If a slightly cynical policy to stamp their entry to turn them into queue jump immigrants, no one in Ashfield would ever know about it. You lose Lee.

As I've said before, if 100,000 people moved into this country and were relatively evenly spread out, you wouldn't even notice. And as for pressure on services and the NHS, that's due to a failure to invest, pure and simple.

There is a Zoroastrian tradition, as told to me by a Parsi, that when the Parsi arrived in India they were denied entry, because the country was full.

The leader of the Parsis produced a bowl of milk, full to the brim. He then took a handful of sugar, and poured it into the milk, where it dissolved. The milk did not overflow.

"We shall add our sweetness to your richness" he said.

They were allowed in.

Fit young people don’t use the NHS, people ten years away from death do. Living a longer healthy life is a marvelous success of our age. So if you’re privileged enough to be an elderly fit NHS user, just shut the fuck up about immigrant youngsters, you’re unlikely to ever meet them down the GP waiting room.

You can see in the clip that (a) he’s fucking furious at being mocked, and (b) he’s weighing up whether he can get away with clouting the kid round the head.

Like Trump, 30p Lee’s quite amusing when slagging off someone even more repellent than he is

What sort of goon would take Miriam Cates seriously? Oh.

Offering nursery places= "state controlled children", and stops parents from being parents.

Didn't you notice when the Tories set up collective farms, communes and local soviets?

I seem to recall something called Sure Start, but Cates’ party scrapped it.

"Davey resign" was rather overtaken by events in 2015. Oh hang on, he means "resign as an MP". Can't recall the same being asked of Liz Truss and Kwasi Kwarteng, Lee.
