So, to address this, Lincolnshire Council (a Reform council) hasn't decided to repair it... but instead, reduce the speed limit by 10mph.
Reform are basically the party of managed decline. Which given the physical state of Farage is clearly a policy they model on their leader.

All their policies are based on disaster capitalism.

Crash the country while the rich kids bet against it.

Nice shiny corporate city centres and delightful quaint villages for them and their kind; all well policed and guarded. Shit for everyone else.

Might be some nice libel damages about to be heading Jez's way. Kippers may not be disciplined enough to avoid it.

Plus the usual what about? (who? John Stonehouse?) And "it's just like Neil Kinnock having a pension from the EU".

Just like Trump then. These extremists (make no mistake, every single one of these fuckers is an extremist) are all-in with Farage and can't back out now. Mail Online had an absolute classic ridiculous leading story today about some whiny arsehole who's recent first visit to London in three years prompted the claim that she's witnessed the beginning of the collapse of society. The comments below were from the usual mix of sociopaths and lunatics, all in agreement that only one man can stop it. That man's name is Nigel.

Nigel vs the Kingston (upon Thames) Yardies would be quite amusing though. But short.

The Reform hardcore base is a fair bit smaller than the Trump hardcore base. I wonder if we've all (ie me) have been a bit dismissive of the Tories' chances? Obviously Kemi is useless, but Reform do have vulnerabilities, including on some Tory strengths like the economy (I don't know why it's a strength, but it tends to be). Perhaps a new Tory leader (who may not necessarily be Jenrick) could do a Nixon 1968, with Farage in the George Wallace role of making them look almost moderate. I wonder if by the next election the Tories may have toned down their opposition to every Labour deal as part of this nod to everyone who isn't mad.

Similarly with Starmer/Mahmood's stuff. Does it boost Reform is Reform are fighting off stuff like Nathan Gill being jailed for treason? Perhaps it lands votes from a load of Reform-curious heartland voters who don't like Reform's Putin crap. Of course, that still leaves the problem of losing votes to the Greens.

That's obviously the sane strategy to pursue. Doubt it will happen.
