I’m with Hannan there. 10% cap won’t work. My card is about 25% (or zero, seeing I pay it off). If they can’t make that off the people who don’t or can’t pay it off then my card would have to get withdrawn, which would slow spending down in the economy.

If an economy has to rely upon usury, it is no decent economy at all. Rather, it's a racket which only increases inequality.

That remains a fact, even if Trump is only doing this to ease the pain of his base who are paying a thousand dollars an egg with maxed out credit cards.

Coach loads of them, desperate to play with their winkles, while making pictures of children at the beach, and being publicly outraged by their denial of these inalienable rights.

These people are a clear and present danger.

What is it about far-right politicians that so many of them have such a relaxed, tolerant, and in some cases even enthusiastic attitudes towards paedophilia and kiddy-fiddling sex crimes ?

I'm thinking specifically here of Donald Trump, with his "If Ivanka weren't my daughter, perhaps I'd be dating her." schtick. And that's before you even get to Jeffrey Epstein and grabbing women "by the pussy".

They think that only Big Tough Men are real people. Women and children are basically property to them. Status symbols if you like - either "I'm banging that", or "look at what my spunk made, via banging a bird in the cunt".

The gigantic ball of contradictions that is the terminally online Right must surely be observable to more people over time? I know there's some nice easy catch-all devices to use - e.g. 'hate muzzies', but the more of this that happens, the more internally incoherent the entire thing is, other than the fragility and laziness that's always been there. Right? RIGHT?

It’s a fact that economies can’t function without credit, that’s for sure. Is consumer credit on cards idifferent to sovereign debt, bank loans, mortgages and trade credit?

Payday loans, I would put in a separate category.

I have to say, that's something I've been pondering upon for quite some time now. I'm sure you've noticed whenever someone from a really far-Right organisation gets arrested, it nearly always comes with a side-order of dodgy pictures on a hard drive.
