His crap aside, OBL was American public enemy #1 since the attacks on a warship and the US embassy in Kenya in 1998. He wasn't some unknown quantity.

Remember a Ch4 Dispatches doc in the late 90s which was convincingly terrifying as to where an escalation of Bin Laden's dangerous antics could lead. And they called it. Maybe Trump was the producer.

A landmark deal to cut global shipping emissions has been abandoned after Saudi Arabia and the US succeeded in ending the talks.

More than 100 countries had gathered in London to approve a deal first agreed in April, which would have seen shipping become the world's first industry to adopt internationally mandated targets to reduce emissions.

But President Trump had called the plan a "green scam" and representatives of his administration had threatened countries with tariffs if they had voted in favour.
The sooner that cunt and his accomplices shuffle off this mortal coil, the better.

I wondered how long it'd be before the madman across the water reverted to this position.

Donald Trump has suggested the best way to end the war in Ukraine would be to “cut up” the country’s Donbas region in a way that would leave most of it under Russian control, after reportedly pushing Volodymyr Zelenskyy at a White House meeting to give up swaths of territory.

“Let it be cut the way it is,” Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One on Sunday. “It’s cut up right now,” he said, adding that you can “leave it the way it is right now”.
He seems to be forever on a 'plane. Is that why his ankles are so swollen, as observed recently?

It's the equivalent of Noel Edmonds shouting "We're live!" throughout his TV shows - gives the illusion of action.

Christ. They might reject a nominee. Bear in mind that they passed Pete Hesgeth and RFK Jnr.

Trump may not like this. Wouldn't be surprised if "which of us hasn't said something a bid bad in private" becomes the line.
Republican senators indicate they won't confirm Paul Ingrassia to special counsel role
Some Republican senators have said they don’t support Paul Ingrassia’s nomination to lead the Office of Special Counsel, ahead of his confirmation hearing on Thursday.

A reminder, Politico reported on Monday that Ingrassia told other Republicans he “has a Nazi streak” and that holidays commemorating Black people should be “eviscerated,” in a private group chat.

Senate majority leader, John Thune, told Politico that Ingrassia is “not gonna pass”. While Republican senator Rick Scott of Florida, told reporters that he would not support the 30-year-old Trump ally.

Politico also reported that James Lankford, the Republican senator from Oklahoma, has “tons of questions” for Ingrassia, adding he “can’t imagine supporting that”.

That's the plan, but will Trump except that nowadays?

22 Republican senators up for re-election in 2026. Trump can get them primaried if he feels like it.

George Osborne was the champion of that. Never mind that the economy has barely grown for 2 years, look, here are some new houses being built, that didn't happen under Labour.

What's this Ingrassia bloke done wrong? You'd have to fuck puppies outside an infants' school before a Republican senator contemplated rejecting a Trump nominee.

I assume admitting he was an actual Nazi, they perform all the roles of a fascist but don't ever actually say they are one out loud.

Bit early to be worried about the midterms, I would assume that would kick in about January.
